Henry 30 30 Vs Marlin 30 30

If price was the same which one would you buy and the one or two reasons quot why am.

I have to admit to checking out the ruger 77 357 bolt gun just a bit. The henry is way prettier than the marlin but like em both. January 4 2019. One good thing about levers is they dont take up alot of real estate up in the safe.

I just bought a henry 30 30 new n box from my buddy for 300 bucks havent shot it yet but has a ghostring sight on back. Sorry that wasn t very tl dr but hope it helps narrow down the general consensus. I say slicked up because from the petite 22 lr to the big 45 70 henrys are generally the smoothest operating lever actions on the market. In my little experience with the marlin 336c 30 30 it performed just as well as the henry model.

I m going to buy either a marlin 336 or a henry 30 30. That is very interesting. Henry 30 30 rifle vs. I can t quit the idea of the marlin but i think i m going to but a 336 30 30 down the road for bear protection and look for an all weather big boy as my 357.

The henry 30 30 is only 7 pounds so maybe all of those heavy golden boy type models with the fancy receivers have given them the rep for heaviness.
