House Smells Like Skunk But No Skunk

Sewer smell rotten egg smell can smell like a skunk usually indicating a problem with sewer or septic system.

There is no skunk in the house. There are no windows open either so it s not like the smell. We live in a split level house. This is to make sure you can smell it if there s a leak.

Of course could also be a skunk catching a snooze or nesting in your hvac system crawlspace woodpile etc and the smell is concentrating in your house but not strong enough to smell outside.
