I Can T Accept My Dog S Death

If you re coping with guilt over your dog s death you may find yourself struggling with the repeated thought my dog died and i can t get over it.
I haven t gone one day. Posted mar 12 2017. I lost my dog and best friend since i was 6 this summer to a severe bowel problem and i had to make the awful decision of putting m. I get that thought as well for me it has been the healing that came with opening my heart just a little more and a little more until dang i fell in love again.
I was with her when she was being put down all i can think about is how she looked at me in the last seconds of her life. Her death was and is still very hard on me. I have seen other dog owners that had this bond so there must be something i can do. Can t cope with the loss of my dog 21 posts add message.
She was 12 or so. We put her down a few months ago she became extremely ill fast and was put down soon after we knew there was nothing else we could do. Why grief over the death of a dog is so intense. I had my dog belle for a very very long time.

This is called grief. I am grateful for every single dog i ve had over the years. Its been 2 weeks today and i forced myself to make the same journey i was on when i received the news of my dogs death. My pet died and i can t stop crying crying after the death of a pet is a normal and healthy way of grieving.
And it hurts like nothing else in this world. Never more than feet from me we did everything together. I can t imagine a life without a dog though it does make you stop and think about doing it again when you have a tragic loss. My whole life has changed it s a different life.
Guilt makes the process of healing your heart longer and more complicated because it s an additional pain to work through. Let me tell you nothing is wrong with you. But i can when needed be an advocate for my patient which is my first priority consider your pet s quality of life.
