I Don T Have Any Real Friends

Most people can only count one or two good friends.

Now idk what s happened i feel like i ve suddenly turned into an introvert and my friends have slowly drifted from me. People who stand by you when you are isolated whether your fault or not. I never make any new friends because i never leave the house. I have lost touch with most people from high school and college because it s hard to make time for a social life when i spend most of my hours working.

Probably because you don t have any real friends. In fact a 2019 poll by yougov found that 27 percent of millennials feel they really don t have any close friends and 3 out of 10 report feeling lonely most of the time. I m 18 and in yr13. Good friends are rare and worth nurturing.

Friendship is a two way thing. We are still friends i think but we rarely talk outside of school and i never get invited to go outside anymore. I don t know how i got in this situation but i don t have any friends. Unsplash kyle smith.

During the rare instances when i do leave the house i never strike up conversations with strangers. Throughout secondary school i had a lot of friends but i was also quite smart so i was often torn between bunking off school with friends and studying. Last night i was tucking into a tasty burger from uber eats when i came to a crushing realization. I don t have any real friends.

I feel like i m just a backup sort of friend when their other. People who tell you how it is not how you want it to be. I m 15 and i used to have quite a few good friends we used to hang out a lot and talk to each other.
