I Wish I Was A Kid Again

I still feel a lot of confinement in my house.

To grab the tail and swirl my way. Back in the day lyrics. I wish i was a kid again. Being a kid meant having fun 24 7.

Like a water slide. That the lockness monster was in. I wish i could write 5 lines that rhyme and call it a poem. It s not like i never had a moment of rebellion but that rebellion didn t turn out alright as i wanted.

Oh how i wish i was a kid again. I ll never have that time back. To camp with the trees. Being a kid meant not worrying what people were saying about you.

I wish i were a child again and relive those childhood days the times when there were no worries about life war or relationships. Now i am an adult and i have to work and try to figure out what i am doing with my life. In the stories that would made my hide creep. When life was just about going to school watching tv and enjoying.

To swim the oceans in a pond. I was a kid but i pretended not to be. I am not saying i do not have fun as a 19 year old in college but sometimes i wish i could pick my nose and not get made fun of for it. Around the fires that spirits would seek.

I wish i were a kid again. When i was a kid my job was to play have fun and not care about the future. There isn t a lot of stress to being a kid. Being a kid means that it s socially acceptable to be ignorant naïve and to have fun.

I wish i were a child again and relive those childhood days. Sometimes i wish i could really go back in time as growing up is not something i like. I feel that i ve wasted my. I wish that people would say i was good at what i do even when i don t put in an effort.
