I Don T Like My Grown Son

And at the end of the day day i always go over things in my head and then i feel bad and feel like a bad mom.

If an adult child has been enough of a jerk that their own parent doesn t like them then they have no right to claim victim status. I just don t know how to handle him sometimes. If you don t like being disliked by your own parent stop being such a jerk. If you don t like it fine but keep it to yourself and you just might be wind up pleasantly surprised at the outcome.

My 8 yrs old son has adhd and mild ocd so yes sometimes i find him annoying or irritating then i end up yelling at him. Your son is an adult. My 27 year old son is getting his master s degree in business. Hes smart and well behaved i just don t like him and it s not even his fault.

Like my son said just as you get to choose your clothing so does he. I just don t like my son. I don t know if it s the advanced degree the business people he s around or some stage he is going through but he no longer. I am so sorry you are experiencing this as a mother myself this is a very painful situation for both you and your child.

This kills me because i try every day not to dislike him. Why you feel your child is trying to destroy you is something no parent wants to believe or have to accept. It takes a lot of jerk behavior over a long period of time to make your parent dislike you. Being around him is physically and emotionally draining for me.

I don t like my 16 year old daughter. We dont have a bad relationship hes s good kid.
